The Hygiene Scale-Up Promotion Project is an emergency response to help curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus, especially in vulnerable communities. The aim of the project is to empower society with adequate knowledge of sustainable health practices. The project is also designed to strengthen ongoing efforts by State Governments to curtail the spread of the coronavirus disease in Nigeria and to promote hygiene practices and hygiene behaviour change (HBC) on a massive scale. Enugu is one of the six states earmarked for this nationwide project.
