Radio School First Term Ends On A High Note

Radio School an educational innovation of South Saharan Social Development Organization which aims at improving learning outcome and academic performance of JSS2 students in Enugu and Adamawa Sates by providing good quality lessons in the four compulsory subjects in the national curriculum ends on a high note for first term. This wouldn’t have been possible without the support from both states Ministry of Education, Post Primary School Management Board (PPSMB), school principals, teachers and the students.

The principals who had received radio sets to enable the students participate in the project pledged their commitment towards ensuring that their schools participate effectively.

In Adamawa state, following the boko- haram insurgency that ravaged the state, Radio School has been bridging the gap in education sector as both students in school and out-of-school partake in the Radio School lessons. As soon as broadcast of lessons kicked off in both states, a seminar for the four subject teachers was organized to sensitize them on their role in the success of Radio School project which is to coordinate the students and ensure that they participate in the lessons during the scheduled broadcast time.
