Credit facilities:

SSDO provides young women with credit facilities to start small businesses mostly in the form of mobile phones to start call centres. Recognizing that success in business has more to do with practice than theory, in 2006, SSDO started an apprenticeship scheme for young women to be attached to women entrepreneurs to learn the practical aspects of business management. So far five girls have benefited. In addition, SSDO provides business management, marketing and accounting training for would be beneficiaries to help them cope with the business world.
