COMMUNITY POLICING TRAINING:
Sister Guardians Initiative organised a training for the police aimed at addressing Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) at the community level. Women in communities respond to other women facing domestic abuse by advocating for them. With this training, women will also collaborate with community leaders and the police to help eliminate domestic violence. This will enable the police and sister guardians to work hand in hand to eliminate at the community level. In addition the training will help the community police and the sister guardians interact better in addressing cases of physical abuse.
